Summer Is Here: Swimmin' & Swingin'!

Summer is finally here in VA! The sun is out and we are enjoying our sunshine when we can get it. We took advantage of the breaks in the rain these last couple weeks and Kinsley and I headed outdoors to do some swimming and swinging!
Kinsley loves the water and I have been dying to get her into a pool- plus she already has 5 bathing suits so we must start wearing them all :) So off to Target we went and we got her the cutest crab baby pool, it has a cover so that it keeps her in the shade, and it's so cute! We filled it up, got Kinsley in her swimsuit that daddy bought her for her 6 month birthday and headed out to the yard. She didn't know quite what to do at first but she eventually got the hang of it and was splashing around like alittle fish by the end. I can't wait to get her into a big pool to see what she thinks but for now we will stay in our little pool in the yard and splash the Summer away!

We met up with another Marine wife and her kids at the Marine Corps Muesum and had a picnic after at the park there. It was a great little park and even though Miss Kinsley is not ready just yet for the jungle gym the baby swings were calling her name! As I started to push her she wobbled back n' forth in the swing for a second and then she leaned forward and started kicking those little legs! She had the biggest grin on her face and was squealing with excitement! The swings were a hit and we will have to visit the parks more often!

Yep, Summer is in full swing and we are ready for all the fun that it will bring!
