Life is Great

Here at the Cox Family, life is great-Miss Kinsley is 5 months now and everyday she amazes me. This little precious ball of joy makes my day, all day from that big gummy smile first thing in the morning to rocking that sweet baby to sleep at night. At her 4 month check-up Kinsley weighed 13lbs 5oz and measured 25inches. Once again she took her shots like a little trooper and once again I was a mess (in my defense, it was only me this time since Anthony was busy with training- so it was a lot harder). But we all made it through just fine :) and we have had a great month!

Kinsley has had a lot of things happen in her 4th month! Here are some of the new things she is doing as well as the things I loved about this month:

On the 24th of March Kinlsey decided that she was going to roll from her back to her front and we haven't been able to keep her on her back for very long ever since...

She started taking cereal in her big bottle at night...

Kinsley no longer hates to be on her stomach! That's right, she is actually starting to like it(well maybe not like it but she doesn't scream anymore!)

She still has a beautiful smile, a contagious laugh, and a hilarious shriek...

She is now in a size 2 diaper...

Kinsley has found her feet and they are her new favorite toy! It is funny to watch her try and figure out what they are doing way down there and of course they go right into her mouth...

She is VERY interested in EVERYTHING. You can see her little mind working and exploring new things...

She is a determined little girl-Anything in my hands is fair game to her. It doesn't matter what I have- she wants it and she will eventually get it...

Kinsley is still a hair puller but now it is no longer a little tug but a full on yank- I swear I am going to go balled on my right side...

She is starting to look more and more like her daddy, but she has my smile :)

Kinsley has started sleeping on her stomach for some of the night.....

She got her first little trim at the hairdresser (just in the back of her head)...

Kinsley has become more independent- like she will entertain herself when we play on the floor or she will sit in her baby Einstein jumper/play area while I do some cleaning or get some chores done...

Bath Time is still her favorite time of the day...

Kinsley is still on the same schedule; she gets up about 8ish- takes an hour to an hour & 1/2 nap about every 2 hours- she eats 6oz every 3 hours- bathtime starts at 7:30 then bedtime with an 8oz. bottle w/cereal. She was getting up about two times during the night but has now dropped back down to once a night- hopefully we will get back to sleeping through the night soon!
It's finally getting warm here and Kinsley and I are hitting the pavement and enjoying the outdoors! With each day brings a new adventure and it just gets better and better!

Til' Next Time!
