Easter and Our Little Funny Bunny!

Kinsley's First Easter

We had such a fun Easter this year! It was Kinsley's 1st so of course we had to make it special! We went to the Fredricksburg mall to get her picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Kinsley didn't cry but I have never seen her eyes get so big as when she looked up a realized that a giant bunny was holding her! It was hilarious and after the initial shock she was back to her happy self. She decided to sleep until 8am on Easter and since she is our alarm clock we were running late before we even started :) So we all ran around like crazy chickens, up and down the 3 floors trying to make it out the door for the 9 o' clock service. I was amazed that we were all dressed and ready to go and even more amazed that we made it in time! After the FANTASTIC church service and celebrating the fact that He has Risen, we came back home to open her Easter baskets. Yes that's right I said baskets... she had one from us, one from my parents and one from my sister. She was super excited to dump everything out all over the floor as we tried to showed her what she got. The Easter Bunny was good to her bringing her 2 outfits, 4 new toys, stuffed animals, books, bubble wands and money to go in her piggy bank. We had a late lunch- Anthony smoked a ham, yum!- and then we spent the day outside in the yard! It was a great day with my little family!
