May All Your Christmases Be White...

After 26 years of having Christmas in Texas with my family, this year I got to spend it with my amazing husband and the oh so lovable Buddy BooBear. I finally got my White Christmas and although I missed my family, we were so happy to NOT be at the airport. We did love starting new Cox Family traditions and had so much fun opening presents, stuffing our faces and cuddling. I think we watched National Lampoon's Christmas ATLEAST 6 times, haha. My turkey came out beautifully, and yes-this year I remembered to take all the stuff from the inside before I cooked it! Mr. Claus was very good to me and was very happy with all his loot as well! He worked so hard on wrapping my gifts and I was very impressed how better he has gotten- the gift boxes were still covered in duct tape, but once a man- always a man! He gets 2 thumbs up!!

We just want to say Thank You! to all our families and friends for the gifts-we loved them all and it was truly a memorable day for both of us! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends in our lives and to us that is truly the best gift.

We spent Christmas Eve over at the Kindestin's and had such a good time. There was lots of food, friends, and chatting- and ya'll know me I could talk to a wall for hours! Buddy was so excited to see his friend Gus and they were either wrestling around the house, begging for food, or passed on the floor. So, after all the food that we stuffed in our bellies at Christmas Eve and Christmas, we decided the next day that heading to the mountain would be a good idea since we really didn't move much Christmas day. Anthony got a new snowboard and was soooooo excited to try it out! We spent the day out on the mountain and enjoyed every minute of it. I have become a pretty good boarder :) not to brag or anything but my hubby told me that I was "Getting really good and that he was proud of me!"- which of course made my Christmas!
